Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the QWIZ (qwiz.ceox.hu) live quiz service. By registering, the presenter accepts the following.

1. The provider

The service is operated and developed by CEOX (www.ceox.hu). Contact: hello@ceox.hu.

2. The service

QWIZ is a live quiz game for the end of presentations: the presenter publishes a question, the audience answers on their own devices, and the system announces the results. The service is currently free to use; the source code is available to download, with license terms in the LICENSE file.

3. Account and responsible use

A valid email address is required for the presenter account. The presenter is responsible for the legality of the questions published and the content uploaded (e.g. logo), and for keeping the TV link confidential. Any misuse, unlawful or disruptive use of the service is prohibited.

4. Data processing

The processing of personal data is governed by a separate Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. Privacy policy

4/A. Newsletter

The provider sends newsletters about QWIZ and its other products (e.g. AI-Learning) solely based on the presenter’s separate, voluntary consent, which can be withdrawn anytime in Settings. Subscribing to the newsletter is not a condition of using the service.

5. Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”; continuous, error-free operation is not guaranteed. The provider is not liable for interruptions caused by internet connections, devices or third parties, nor for damages arising from a cancelled game. Offering and handing over prizes is solely the presenter’s responsibility.

6. Changes and termination

The provider may modify these terms and the service; material changes are announced in the interface. The presenter may request deletion of their account at any time via the contact address.
